Basket Weave Scarf

For this scarf, I used the basket weave pattern. This was the first scarf I ever made, so it took me quite a while. I cast on 16 stitches with a worsted weight yarn and I used size US 9 (5.5 mm) needles.

Rows 1-4: K4, P4, K4, P4
Rows 5-8: P4, K4, P4, K4
Repeat rows 1-8 until you reach your desired length.
I used one skein of yarn. I also used different shades of pink and red ribbons in the fringe.
